- Confirm the computer, Firebase and hosting requirements.
- Extract the download and open the
sourcefolder in a terminal. - Install the included dependency versions.
- Create a Firebase project and enable Authentication, Firestore and Storage.
- Copy the example configuration files and add the Firebase Web App values.
- Create or link the website host. Netlify is the recommended first deployment.
- Deploy Firebase rules, indexes, Functions and the website.
- Open
/sign-in, create the first administrator and enter the business defaults. - Add a category and product, or import the optional demo data.
- Open the storefront in a private browser window and place a test order.
Payments, WhatsApp and Google Places are optional. Complete a manual collection or delivery order before adding optional providers.
Installation is complete when the storefront opens over HTTPS, the administrator can sign in at
/admin, and a test order appears under Orders.
