- Download the complete Ordio package.
- Extract it on the local computer. Do not run commands inside the ZIP.
- Confirm Node.js 22.12 or newer with
node --version. - Prepare a Google account that can create a Firebase project.
- Prepare a Netlify account, or choose another host from the hosting guide.
- Decide which country, currency and timezone the business will use.
- Keep optional payment and messaging credentials aside until manual ordering works.
Use the correct folder
The download contains the main guides, the documentation folder and the source folder. Run all installation commands from source.
Do not upload the full ZIP, documentation, private environment files or node_modules to a public web directory. The deployment command publishes only the files needed by the website.
Prepare the website address
You can complete the first test using the HTTPS address supplied by Netlify, Firebase Hosting, Cloudflare Pages or Vercel. Connect a custom domain after that address passes the launch checklist.
